Biedrība "New East" un ASV informācijas centrs Daugavpilī aicina piedalīties tiešsaistes medipratības izaicinājumā "Media Lab Critical Thinking", kas sāksies jau 25. oktobrī. Izaicinājums norisināsies angļu valodā. 

Media Lab Critical Thinking is online media literacy challenge.

Join the weekly marathon of lectures and assignments that will allow you to develop your media literacy and journalism skills. Participate and win valuable prizes - laptop, smartwatch and other valuable prizes.

Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2021 is coming soon. We invite you to the online educational program Media Lab. Young people from 14 to 22 years old are invited to participate. The program is individual and will be taught in English.

During the week, participants will receive short video lectures from media literacy experts and journalists and they will be asked to complete 3 online tasks. The winners will receive valuable prizes - laptop, tablet and smartwatch.

This season, the main topic is critical thinking. During the course, participants will gain new knowledge about deepfakes, clickbaits, verification and journalism. They will have the possibility to create and consume content, to develop personal communication and analytical skills. All lecturers are young professionals who will help you to improve your skills!
